USB OABR Stick for automotive Ethernet (OABR/BroadR-Reach)
The USB OABR Stick represents a compact hardware interface connecting Windows and Linux based PCs with an OABR (OPEN Alliance BroadR-Reach) network. On Windows and Linux the USB OABR Stick functions as a standard network adapter device (similar to Ethernet).
Through a private software API the USB OABR Stick implements additional functionality such as direct PHY register access and raw packet send and receive. This enables cable-testing, network diagnostics and other applications.
The USB OABR Stick is a product offered by our partner company FibreCode. The complete firmware and the software communication layer on Windows/Linux are based on Thesycon IP blocks.
